South Main Police Precinct

MidSouth Casters is proud to be a huge supporter of the Memphis - South Main Precinct. We work with community organizations to show our support for the police and help to facilitate and foster an environment that serves the police officers and strengthens the relationship with the citizens they serve. We recently hosted a “Stop & Go” event for the officers and provided them with a meal and social setting to show them how much we appreciate the work that they do.

HopeWorks

HopeWorks students come from all walks of life- many that have left them battered, dejected and without much hope at all. But HopeWorks firmly believe that a twice-convicted felon can turn into a hard-working, faith-professing individual.

HopeWorks is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to serve the poor through outreach programs that develop individual worth, encourage personal responsibility and promote the honor and value of work.

MidSouth Casters works with HopeWorks by helping those that are hard to hire by getting them back into work and into the mainstream. HopeWorks provides classes and skills needed to re-enter into Society. This provides a 2nd chance. MidSouth currently has an intern from HopeWorks whose proving to them that this service is working.

Center for Southern Folklore

The Center for Southern Folklore is a non-profit organization that documents, presents, and celebrates the music and heritage of the Memphis/Delta region. When you come to the Center, you're entering the home for what we love and treasure about the South.

Throughout the year the Center for Southern Folklore brings many performers to you at their stages in The Folklore Store and in Folklore Hall for shows including blues, jazz, soul, gospel, rockabilly, country, folk, bluegrass, poetry, dance and the occasional surprise.

MidSouth Casters donates to Center for Southern Folklore to preserve Southern music and the Southern culture.
