MidSouth Casters Under New Ownership

Since 1988, MidSouth Casters & Equipment has been the Mid-South’s leading supplier of casters and material handling equipment. Under the leadership of Mike Moffatt and Ray Simmons, MidSouth Casters & Equipment has consistently delivered high quality products and service to its customers. While the name MidSouth implies a regional focus we are national in our reach across America.

In 2014 MidSouth Casters & Equipment changed hands and remains committed to carry on the standard of excellence that has been built over the last 27 years. In April of last year, Don Adams purchased MidSouth Casters & Equipment and is committed to its legacy of excellence and is looking forward to the next phase of growth and exceptional service to its commercial and industrial customers.

Don has spent the last 20 years working for a leading global distributor of building automation sensors where his last role was Director of Product Management. He noted this, “While I have no direct experience in casters, my education was in mechanical engineering, and my distribution experience came from a company that set a higher standard for helping customers get what they needed when they needed it.”  When asked about what he likes about this business he added, “Nothing moves without a wheel; everyone is a potential customer.”

The vision Mr. Adams brings to MidSouth Casters is one that he developed from his previous experiences; supplying quality products, having them in stock and ready to ship, and making it personal every day with each customer. “I want this to be a place where not only do we grow as a company, but we grow as individuals and in our ability to be better businessmen and women,” said Adams. Each employee is routinely encouraged to be fearless for the customer.  “I tell everyone, you will never get into trouble for trying to do the right thing to take care of a customer.”
